With Weave technology the retailer captures three additional questions in their basket - date of birth, sort code and account number – enabling the sale of any number of subscriptions. Weave technology acts as an integration hub, verifying the data with relevant credit agencies and activating the subscription with the supplier. The customer receives a seamless experience, and the retailer receives the subscription margin which is greater than the hardware margin.

Today, Weave is established in the mobile phone market, selling SIM only contracts alongside mobile phones through Argos & Amazon in the UK and growing into Germany and Ireland.

Weave’s technology works anywhere the opportunity to sell a subscription with hardware exists in the growing subscription market. Weave enables retailers to sell higher margin subscriptions as they sell hardware: For example: When buying TV or Laptop you add Home Broadband, Gaming, Music streaming.
